2. Website and reach measurement

The website is delivered by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). On every request, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP address, time, page accessed, browser, operating system and referring page. These logs are only stored briefly.

To see which pages are read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not recognise you on a return visit. What is recorded is the page accessed, the referring page, country, device type, browser and load time. The IP address is used only to determine the country and is not stored.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in secure operation and a data-minimising analysis of reach (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Third country: Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which an adequacy decision of the EU Commission exists. Standard contractual clauses apply in addition.

3. Contact form, appointment booking and LinkedIn

Through the contact form we process name, email address and message, along with the selected topics and, if you provide them, company, number of employees and phone number. Sending runs through Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). You can request an appointment for an initial talk through Microsoft Bookings (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Ireland). In doing so we process name, email address, the chosen appointment and your entries in the booking form.

You can also request an initial consultation through our ads on LinkedIn. LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Ireland) provides the form and pre-fills it with details from your profile. When you submit it, we receive your name, email address, company, phone number and the number of employees you state. Your own use of LinkedIn is governed by the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.

We use the details only to answer your enquiry. They are voluntary, but without name and email address we cannot reply to you.

Legal basis: initiation of a contract and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Storage period: up to three years after the enquiry is concluded.
Third country: Resend transfers data to the USA on the basis of standard contractual clauses. Microsoft stores the data in data centres in the EU. If a transfer to the USA occurs in an individual case, it relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. LinkedIn is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which an adequacy decision by the EU Commission exists.

4. Cookies

We set no cookies for advertising or tracking. In the browser we store only your decision on the privacy notice, and this entry does not leave your device. You can change it at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Fonts are delivered with the website, no data goes to external font services such as Google Fonts.

5. Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To exercise these, write to privacy@samit-ms.at, we reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
