Plain language

The questions that come before you sign.

  • How long do I commit for?

    The contract usually runs for an indefinite period and can be cancelled by either side with one month's notice to the end of the month, in writing. No minimum term, no automatic renewal for a year. Anyone who commits for longer voluntarily can benefit on price. We discuss that in the initial consultation and put it in the offer.

  • And what if we go our separate ways again?

    When the contract ends, you get an orderly handover: export of passwords and documentation, removal of the agents, handover to your next provider. Your environment belongs to you, not to us. That is in the contract, not just in a sales pitch.

  • Where is our data held?

    The services we use process data in the EU wherever the vendor offers it. Mail protection and Microsoft 365 backup run in Germany, the technical support in Austria. The full list of subprocessors including data location is in the data processing agreement.

  • How much extra does all the data protection paperwork cost?

    Nothing. The data processing agreement and documentation are part of the service.
